Chest pain and hernia
Dear Doc,
I am 27 years old and 3 months ago I went in for a scope only to find I had a hernia. I have been put on medication for these 3 months to see if it would improve. But another problem has occured over the past 2 months, I have constant pain behind my left breast (sometimes in the breast itself) that follows through into the muscles in my back. I'm not sure if this a result of the hernia, or would it be lung/heart related? I am a smoker and this is very worrying to me. What kind of specialis would be able to help me?

your GP can take a Chest X/ray to check your lungs and just look at your breast - you may have a swollen gland in the breast itself. He can refer you if needed.
