Cholesterol and homocysteine
The opinion on this website seems to be that cholesterol is, at least, a very prominant factor in heart disease. What about homocysteine? Is it to early to "choose" between the two?

Stef, the website doesn’t have much of an opinion, but my opinion is that LDL cholesterol is a prominent factor in the development of atherosclerosis. Homocysteine is also a good marker of cardiovascular disease and the two should be done in conjunction with each other. Let me know if you have more questions. Good luck.
