Coughing when waking up 2
Dear Doc
I have developed an irritating, deep chest cough that occurs only in the morning just after I've woken up and started moving around, and also particularly after I have had a shower. These coughing fits last several minutes and leave me totally out of breath.Apart from that - no coughing or throat irritation whatsover.
I do not take any medication or suffer from any allergies. I do suffer from high blood pressure, but this is not medicated.
Please help?

Art, if you don’t smoke, it might be due to gastro-oesophageal reflux but I can’t say for sure from this side of the screen. The best would be to see your doctor and have it sorted out. Good luck.
