Dry inflamed lips
My lips have become swolen and dry and the area aroudn my lips has also become inflamed. It's not painful but it is irritating. Zambuck and Lip ice don't last very long. Have also tried treating for fever blisters. Condition has lasted around 4 days so far.

Nic, are you sure it isn’t an allergy due to something you ate? It might also be due to an infection, but then one would expect pain to feature somewhere in your list of symptoms. The other option may be that something irritated the lips and that you then started licking them (probably unconsciously) and that this keeping the inflammation going. The easiest would be to see your doctor and to have him make a diagnosis. Good luck.
