effects of circumcision
Hi Doc,
I have been curcumcised as a baby.I am currently 30yrs old. I have noticed over the last 2-3 years, that my penis' glans has some pigmentation on it, that seems to be getting worse. the darker spots are getting more prominent. Also, whe erect, my penis looks fine due to the blood flow, but when my penis is flaccid, it becomes blothchy( red and white spots), almost like the "mince meat" effect on the palm of one's hands. I also have a spot on the rim of my glans where the blood accumulates when I sit down for long periods. When I rub over the rim, it disappears, like the blood starts flowing again. My penis is really unatractive when relaxed. Is there something I can do and is this a side effect of circumcision?
This seems to happen only when I sit, not when I stand for long periods. I don't have any erection problems.

Casper, the spots are probably due to minor trauma, but there is a small possibility that it is due to an infection or even a form of cancer. The best would be to see your doctor and have it sorted out. Good luck.
