Effects of cold water on penis
Hi.
Would pouring a jug full of very cold water (not ice cold, but straight from the tap in a cold climate area) onto the genital area about 2 to 3 times a day cause the following LONG TERM effects-
1- Numbing or reduction in sensitivity of the penis/glans.
2- Shrinking of the penis (since cold temperatures usually tend to shrink things.)
If 'no' to question 2, then please could you provide technical/scientific evidence that would reassure me that this is not possible, please?
3- Any other adverse effects?
Thank you for any advice.

Optimist, the answers are no to all questions. I can’t offer you scientific proof because nobody has done any research on the subject because we know that people that are regularly exposed to cold water do not have smaller penises than others. The penis tends to shrink when it is in cold water because the veins contract and blood and water is drained from the penis. As soon as the penis warms up again everything returns to normal. Good luck.
