Excessive Weigh Loss, Moody, Sleepy, Light Headed
Dear CyderDoc

I had my thyroid tested, in Sept 2003 - no problems.
I went through a very stressfull time end of last year, but it is all sorted and worked out. I councelled with a psychologist.

But lately, I am very moody, I am "cold" towards my husband and daughter. I loose my temper very easy. And at times I sleep even before my daughter does. And then again, at times I can't sleep at all.

I lost a lot of weight, and I am stil loosing weight. I have a healthy apetite, and eat three meals a day. I lost about 10 kilos in a period of two months. I am not over weight, but please help before I loose to much weight.

My father suffer from high cholesterol, but I don't eat rich or fatty foods.

Please help.

Concerned, losing weight when you don’t really want to, is usually a sign of an underlying problem. It might be due to stress, but it might also be due to something serious like diabetes, thyroid problems, etc. The best would be to see your doctor and to have it sorted out. Good luck.
