eye paracentesis
My mother (86) has been diagnosed with the above. What does it entail and how can it be cured? PLEASE ADVISE!!!

Paracentesis is not the disease it just means drawing some fluid from the eye - could be due to a retinal bleeding or a clot in the retinal vein. The reason for doing this is to lower abnormal high pressure in the eye to prevent further damage.
