Fat on the liver
Hello Doctor

i am writing to you just for clarification as i do not understand my friends condition. He has had flu like symtoms and a lot of coughing with phlegm . He has been on 3 sets of antibiotics since the 1st March . His doctor ruled out pnemonia , and did a series of blood tests . He told us that the blood tests showed that he has fat on the liver . is there a medical term for this ? what exactly does this mean , how did he get it ? is the prognosis good ? will he lead a normal life ? will he get better ?

i would greatly appreciate some clarity regarding this condition.

Dear Sandy
He could have a sinusinfection which causes a post nasal drip?
