feels like big bubble under ribcage
my wife has had a problem which started about a year ago. we thought it was wind because it felt like it. this is becoming more and more frequent, like every second day and is causing extreme pain. she says it feels like a big bubble unger her ribcage which makes her feel like burping but there is no wind. this is agravated by eating and an hour or so after a meal the symptoms start and last sometimes all through the night. any idea???

David, I can’t say for sure without examining her first, but it sounds like a hiatus hernia from this side of the screen the best would be to see a gastroenterologist and have him sort it out for her. Good luck.
