Fever Bister
Dear Doctor,
I''ve had a cold sore on the corner of my lip for about a week and a half after which the ''crust'' came off. Five days later, while I was exposed to the cold weather, it started to burn. Is that normal? A day later I noticed an absolutely small scab forming. What does that mean?
Thanks

Hallo Des
It may be normal and they often form scabs as it is a blister that dries out. Try using spirits of camphor on the cold sore.
