Finding a GP
I am trying to find a GP who will take a proper history during an initial consultation, and not try and have a person in and out in the 7.5 minutes that I have experienced so far.

Hi Ursula
The best is toask for a long or double consultation (1/2hour) when you phone in. Tell the doctor up front that you need enough time. Ask around - people in your church or at your work or family or friends may be able to refer you to someone not so busy.

You should consult a medical practitioner or other appropriate health care professional for a physical examination, diagnosis and formal advice.
