Friend has cancer
My friend was diagnosed with a brain tumor 4 months ago, she hadthe tumor removed and then radiation and chemo, they stopped the chemo as she was way too ill and could not eat, but even so she was unable to eat again after the radiation was over. So for the past app. 2 months she has been tube fed only, totally unable to eat as food is tasting too awful and she can not tolerate itat all. But the last week she suddenly became so ill that she became unable to walk, her muscles became so week, and she has unbelievable dry mouth, what could this be ?
Dear Jane
She may be dehidrated or have a severe electrolyte imbalance - have they tested her blood ? - she may need a drip.
