Ganglion Cyst?

I've got what looks like a ganglion on the back of my hand on my index finger bone leadig up to my wrist. I've had it since I was about 13 or so. It was small then but seems to be getting bigger lately. It is as hard as the bone itself, and this is what makes me doubt it's a ganglion. It's not painful at all except when I play golf. I can't use my hand and wirst to it's full extent the next day.

You can't see it unless I flex my hand forwards.

I would like to know if this is more than lightly a ganglion, before I get fooled...

Vee, it is difficult to say what it is without being able to examine you first. It sounds like it might be a ganglion or an osteophyte, but the only way to find out for sure would be to see your doctor. Good luck.
