gastroscopy -is it safe for a 74 yr old, suffers hb pressure, anaemic, weak
If something eg cancer is found - can this be removed at same time of this op and what are the side effects of this operation?

Kylie, a gastroscopy is done under light sedation and it is a fairly quick procedure – it should be safe enough. They should be able to remove a polyp, but I doubt that they will be able to remove the whole cancer growth. Let me know as a new question if you have more questions. Good luck.
