Gout
I am 52 year old white male approx 10kg overweight and 1.9 meters tall, exercise regularily, do not eat a lot of red meat, do not drink much alcohol, my diet is low in purines,am taking Puricos daily, however I get acute attacks of gout in my ankles 2 to 3 times per month. I go to bed ok but wake up at about 04h00 with vey sore ankles. I am also trying to increase my water intake. Can you help?
Colin, the easiest would be to see a specialist physician and have him sort it out for you, but in the meantime I can send you some more information on gout. Just mail me at CyberDoc@mweb.co.za if you’re interested. Good luck.
