Growth on side of the anus & diarrheoa
7 days ago, small, hard, not so painful growth appeared just next to my anus. I ignored the growth, hoping it will disappear. After 2/3 days, it was not painful at all. It seems the size shrinks during the night because in the mornings this growth is very small, smaller than a pea. At bedtime it has swollen to peasize. It does not hamper any excretory activities I engage in. What is this growgth, is it dangerous, will it disappear on its own?

Whilst I have this growth I developed severe diarrhoea 3 days ago. I went to the clinic on day 2 of diarrhea, but said nothing about the growth. The clinic gave me Gastrolyte but the diarrhea continues. Do you think the growth and diarrhea are related? Today is day 4 diarrhea and day 7 for the growth.

SW, it sounds like it might just be a small haemorrhoid, but I can’t say for sure from this side of the screen. The best would be to see your doctor and have him make sure, bu in the meantime you can mail me at so that I can send you some more information on haemorrhoids. Good luck.
