Heart Meds
My friend has been given espiride 50mg to use for the heart on a daily basis. The leaflet indicates also to use for persons with Parkinson and skitsofrinia. Severe heart pains did occurs when stress was excperienced and a number of times the have lead to fainting. Other wise nothing wrong. Question why this type of meds when it is used for persons with a mental problem or parkinson? Is this normal to give this to a person with a "  heart problem"  and what is this commanly used for.

Hallo Jack
Although Espiride is used for schizophrenia, it is also used for people suffering from stress and depression and it is relatively safe (we also use it in breastfeeding mothers) Usually the treatment will be for up to 6 months.
