Hepatitis A
My toddler is 2 and my sister has hepatitis A she was at his birthday party on Saturday and was only told on Sunday. Do I need to take him for an injection
Dear Tracey
Hepatitis A is transmitted by saliva and urine and fecies. If your sis kissed him, or shared food with him, it may be worth your while to ask your doc to give him a Beriglobin injection to prevent infection. If she was just around him it is probably not necessary.
