herald''s patch
what is it
Hallo Karen
A herald patch is a larger area of redness that usually starts a few days before the general rash of Ptyriasis rosea. They are still not 100% sure what causes Ptyriasis rosea but think that it is caused by one of the human Herpes viruses. It is not contagious and usually resolves completely after a few weeks, leaving no permanent effects
