Hight blood pressure at 20
I have recently discovered that I have high blood pressure.
I am a 20 year female. It went as high as 150/100.
Will medication resolve the problem or will I have to take medication forever?
Also, how long does it take for the heart to eventually stop working?

Hearty, a once oh high blood pressure reading doesn’t mean much and doesn’t warrant medical intervention. Have your blood pressure taken once a week at different times of the day for the next month and let me know if the high values persist. Good luck.
