Hyperthyroidism - using Panafcort nd NeoMercazole simultaneously
Dear Doctor,
I have been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, and my endocrinologist has given me NeoMercazole and Panafcort. Can I go to the gym while I am on this medication?
I suffered from Anorexia Nervosa 15 years ago, and am happy with my weight. I eat healthily and watch what I eat. I want to avoid having a heart attack, but I also want to maintain my current weight. Is there any way I can avoid puuting on weight while I am on this medication?

Unfortunately, cortico-steroids causes weight gain due to water retension. You are welcome to go to the gym, whilst on this medication.
