M Vit M vitamin pills
Hi,
In 2000 I was tested with a shortage of iron. If I really feel tired, I drink a month's suppy of M Vit M vitamin pills. I also have Endometriosis and during my period I lost a lot of blood the 2nd of my cycle. Can it do any harm to drink these pills ongoing like every 3 - 4 months? It makes me feel not so tired and do I at anytime need to test my ironlevels again?
I'll really appreciate your feedback, thank you very much!!

Dear Duppie
If you menstruate heavily you can take the pills ongoing - just check your iron levels once in about 3-4 months. If you see that it stays fairly constant on the medication that you are taking, you can start testing every 6 months. An overdosage of Iron can cause liver problems and lead to diabetes.
