Mucus on the throat
Doc,
I get a lot of mucus on my throat that disturbs me. Sometimes it makes my voice hoarse. I try to clear my throat but it stays clear for a few minutes and it's stuffed up again. It stays clear longer only if I draw this mucus and spit it out. The color is not unusual though, it is just average thick and light cyan of fading amber in color. This is irritating me Doc, could share your advice please.

Drewsa, it might be due to an allergy. The easiest would be to buy an antihistamine like Clarinese® and take it once daily for two or so weeks. If it becomes better, you know that it is due to an allergy and you can then continue taking it. If it doesn’t become better, the best would be to see your doctor. Good luck.
