My Friend had a stroke due to a clot
She was only found 10hrs later and is lame on the right side. Her
Doctor said most of her left side of the brain is dead. What does
this mean is she going to recover? Please what does the Left side
of the brain hold (Speech what else). She is going into Rehab.

Tish, I can’t tell you whether she will recover or not. I can also not tell you what will be affected because it depends on more than just which side of the brain it happened. It depends on the size and the area in which it happened as well. The best would be to speak to her physician and find out for him (he has the brain scan at his disposal and will be able to tell you a whole lot more). Good luck.
