Non Hodgkins Lymphoma
What is the general direction NHL in right lung would travel. I have it for second time and been treated for it twice (2004 & 2008 – not in remission) – holding back treatment plan till next Pett Scan in January 2010.
I have been told it normally goes to liver and currently have high liver function results which concerns me. Also confused about difference between NHL in lung and lung cancer.
Please " un confuse" me.

There is no specific pattern that it follows but it can spread to the liver from the lung. NHL in the lung is abnormal lymph cells from a cancer in the bone marrow that spread to the lung ( B or T cells, usually B cells) also called metastasis while lung cancer is cancer of the lung tissue cells that start in the lung.
