not spider veins
hi there
i really hope you can help me,because everyone i ask cannot answer.

i have purlpish/blue blotches on my inner thigh (between my hip and my knee), but more towards my knee. when i rub it,it still does not go away.i am 21 and i do exercise most of the week.
i have not gone to the doctor, because i dont want to go and pay a lot of money, then its just something normal.

please help, because this is kind of worrying.it just doesnt want to go away.

you did say that it could be spider veins.i know what spider veins look like and i know for sure that it is not that...

Hi Help
Try and explain to me how it looks - does it look like a bruise? Is it tender, or does it change colour?
If you press on it does it feel like there is fluid inside?

Firstly, thanx for showing interest.
It looks like when you expose your skin to for eg. a hot fan heater.....it looks like permanent vasodilation, but it persists therefore looking like many oblong bruises, just more of a lighter colour.
no,it does not change colour and no, when i press there are no fluid like sensations.

Dear help
A subcutanous infection called erisipelas can look like this or it can be an erythema ( read more on http://www.erythema.com/) I think you will have to ask a doctor to have a look.
