pain in right side/flank
I'm a 30-year-old female and I've a pain in my right side/flank which sometimes radiates down into my groin and right leg since October last year. The pain comes and goes but I can't seem to find any pattern.... the only thing I've noticed is that it's often worse at night. Sometimes it's just a dull ache and other times I get these sharp "jabbing pains".
I'm really tired of putting up with this.... any ideas doctor?

Jemima, it might be due to an ovarian (cysts, ovulation), bladder (infection), appendix (infection), kidney (infection, stones) or intestinal (infection, IBS) problem. The problem is that I can’t really narrow it down from this side of the screen, so the best would be to see your doctor about it. Good luck.
