My mouth is whitish and painful. this has been going on for
months now. I have just tested for HIV and I am negative
what can you advise. It occurs at least once in two months - is
it something I eat?

Woody, it sounds like it might be due to oral thrush. It isn’t only associated with HIV, it might also be due to something like diabetes or drugs you’re taking. The best would be to see your doctor and have him make sure of the diagnosis and the cause. Good luck.
