Painful periods \ hysterectomy
Six months ago I had normal pap smear, scan revealed cysts on ovaries and fibroids. Could these cause extreme period pain - I mean really bad paid and if so is the answer a hysterectomy. Please advise asap.

PP, I suppose it is possible, but it might be due to something else like endometriosis. Having a hysterectomy is a drastic step and I would first make sure that there is another treatable cause before I would opt for a hysterectomy. The best would be to see your Gynaecologist and have him sort it out for you. Good luck.
