I am a 59 year old woman who has in the past 6 weeks packing up a large home and almost single handedly unpacked and re-located to a smaller home.
Hence I have almost non-stop OVER-USED my arms and hands. I am now plagued by bad pains, like nerves being pinched in my hands and fingers, particularly at night whilst trying to sleep. Most distressing as I try to restore "life" to my hands and fingers.
Can this problem be as a result of over-use of my 59 year-old hands and arms? Or do I in fact worry about something more sinister? (p.s. I DO suffer from generalised anxietry disorder, so I don't need to worry about something else which might never happen!)
Please give me your opinion.

Marge, I think you have made the correct diagnosis – you used your arms and hands too much. You can try taking something like Coxflam® for a week or so and see if it doesn’t clear up. If it doesn’t, the best would be to see your doctor. Good luck.
