Dear doctor, I have always been regular when it comes to my menstrual cycle but have had no period for a month now. I have done bloodtests to confirm that i am not pregnant. I had a baby about 17 months ago but still was regular up until last month. What could the possible cause be? Will I gain weight if I dont get my period regularly?
Dear Kiara
No you won't pick up weight, other causes of a missed menstruation can be stress, hormone fluctuations and low body weight. If it persists for more than a month or 2 you could ask your gyne to investigate.
