Prednisone
Doc I must take prednisone 10 tablets at 11pm and 5 am and 11am before my cat scan. Does these pills have any side effects.
As a couple of months ago I took only 2 pills and it gave me rapid heart beat and dizziness.

I can cause a bit of low blood pressure but usually in such low dosages do not cause any harm ( it is a cortisone and given to prevent severe allergic reactions to intravenous fluids used for some cat scans) I have used up to 60 mg at once without any side effects myself.
