Thank you for your answer and advice. I will make an appointment with my house doctor before seeing the gyne though.

I had a look at the Mirena and it sounds great! I'm only 21 though and still would like to have children someday (although I doubt that it'll be within the next 5 years) I have a steady bf which I'm most probably going to end up marrying so I don't sleep around. Only thing I'm worried about is the fertility? Is that an issue?
