Seizures
My dad had a stroke a couple years back but he seemed to have fully recovered. Now all of a sudden he keeps on having seizures. The doctors have no idea whats causing them but have subscribed some medicine. It seems to work but if he doesn't take the medication then they re-occur. There are times when they re-occur even when he is taking his medication. He can go from having one once a month to having 4 in a day. Do you have any ideas what might be wrong?
Nunu, it sounds like a part of the brain was damaged due to the stroke and that this is now responsible for the convulsions. The best would be to take him to a neurologist so that the proper tests can be done and the correct medication prescribed. Good luck.
