Sharp pain in left lung!
Hi there, about two days ago i developed a very sharp pain in my left lung.
It is so bad that the tears even roll down my cheeks involenarily.
I am a smoker and am now in the process of quitting.
the pain is sharp and it also feels like a hot, burning sensation sometimes.
I have bad history of pneumonia.
What could this be?????
Thank You in advance.

Mel, it is probably just pleurisy, but it might be due to something a lot more serious like a pulmonary embolism. If it hasn’t cleared up by the time you receive this reply, the best would be to see your doctor and have it sorted out. Good luck.
