Sore slightly swollen underarms

Yesterday I noticed that my left underarm was very tender and it seems to be slightly swollen, when I woke up this morning my right underarm seems to also be slightly swollen and is also quite sore. I can't see any pimples or bites or anything that could be causing the swelling or pain, so was wondering what it could be and is it something I should leave for a bit and wait to see if it goes away or should I have it checked out ASAP.

Shani, the obvious cause would be a reaction to something you applied under your arms (e.g. deodorant). It might also due to an infection, so if it becomes worse in spite of you not applying anything new/out of the ordinary, the best would be to see your doctor. Good luck.
