Strange sensation in toes
HI, my boyfriend fishes a lot and as a result is often standing in very cold water for quite a long time. He has recently been complaining about having numb/sensative toes (only his outer toes) do you think this could be from the cold water or do you think this could be caused by something else?

Dear Jen
Yes he may be getting chillblains from the cold water - it may be worth while to get him some rubber fishing boots to wear in winter. He can also put some vaseline on the feet to insulate it from the water.
