Dear Doc
I had a stye which became a hordeolum (within a few days), I had it removed (cut out) last Monday 11th and the stitches were removed yesterday 18th. Where the cut was made it is a bit swollen still and a bit red, nowhere near as bad as it was, but now I feel another lump higher up near the top of my eyelid, and I am concerned it may be abother one starting - the first one was on the lower part of my eyelid (near the lashes).... Is there anything I can do to stop this one growing and avoid more surgery? Am I doomed for life and will these appear again and again, I am only 29 and I had never hear of this condition until a week ago! It affected my vision too for a few days (blurred vision) and now this new one seems to be affecting it again, please advise asap. Thank you.

Dawn, you can start using the antibiotic eye drops you were given the first time. Hopefully it will keep it from getting worse. Good luck.
