Swelling & discomfort following vasectomy & cystoscopy
I underwent the above procedures a week ago, & now find myself with one severely inflamed testicle & lots of dicomfort. The swelling started around three days after the procedures, on one side only. Some bruising had occurred but was clearing up when the swelling started. I went back to the urologist who performed the procedures & was told that some slight internal bleeding was taking place. I was prescribed Myprodol and Clavumox. Now two days after the visit the inflammation has increased, & I am in a bit of pain; I do not have any feverish symptoms and my temperature is normal. Do I seek a second opinion, or give some more time to see if things improve since the swelling seems to have stopped, but has not as yet started to dissipate? Do you have any other ideas on this subject?

CAS, the best would be to phone the urologist and let him know that his treatment isn’t working because it doesn’t sound normal to me from this side of the screen. Good luck.
