Swollen gums
My gums swell up occasionally. Around 3 or 4 teeth. It is quite painful but not painful emough to warrant going to the doctor or dentist. It also only lasts for a few days. What could be causing this?

Any ideas?

Swollen, it might be due to trauma cause by using to hard a tooth brush or even due to flossing. It might of course be due to an infection, but infections usually don’t come and go very 3-4 days. The best would be to take care when you brush and floss, and to use a good mouth wash. If it still persists, the best would be to see your doctor. Good luck.
