swollen stomach
The stomach is swollen it seems as if she is 9 months pregnant. X-rays/sonar shows lot of moisture inside stomach. Very painfull. One docter diagnose spastic colon and another docter diagnose TB. Is it possible? Age 81. She is also a diabetic. Sweat lots at night. Very tired. No appetite. The stomach is also very warm outside. One cannot touch her stomach or she cant even lie on her sides.
SC, you can probably rule out spastic colon. TB is a possibility, but so are obstruction, perforations, infections, malignancy, etc. The best would be for her to see a surgeon and have it sorted out. Good luck.
