Hi Doc

My part time domestic worker's health has been deteriorating for the past couple of months. Initially it started with a really bad cough and tiredness. Then she just looked like she had no energy. Now about 4 months later, she still has a terrible cough, is throwing up when she eats, has lost a lot of weight, has pain in her legs so she walks very slowly, and is still very tired. And she feels hot and cold. She has been to the Selby hospital where they didnt check her up but just told her that she has Bronchytis and prescribed a medication called Oxygen cell Immune booster.

What do you think it could be? I'm not quite convinced that it is bronchytis. She has taken blood tests and they have come negavtive for Aids and TB.

I am gonna be taking her to the hospital later this week.

Belle, I can’t say what it is without examining her first, but it sound serious. Option would include TB and AIDS, but also anaemia, diabetes, cancer, other serious infections, etc. the best would be to take her to the doctor and have it sorted out. Good luck.
