Throat infection
I have a throat infection and the doctor gave me 2 weeks worth of antibiotics. Im wondering if I really need that amount of pills, I don't feel THAT sick. I was just wanting to know if a throat infection will go away by itself eventually or if I really do need to take pills for it??
Hallo Katie
Well, if you have fever, yellow discharge in the throat and swollen glands, I think you should take it. Sore throat can be caused by viral infections but your doctor probably saw something during the examination that suggested bacterial infection.
