Thyroid
Doc, I wander if you can help me. I was on the pill for about 8 years for the last 4 months I am trying to fall pregnant. I was using Eltroxin 1.05mg for 9 years. About a month ago it felt if the Eltroxin is not working anymore (I picked up weight fast). So I start using unique Formulations Thyrostim for a month now. At first it felt if it is working but now I can see my hands is very dry my hair is still falling out I am still gaining weight. This Unique Formulations also have a product called Tyrostim- C that you take with your Eltroxin. Do you think I must rather take the one with Eltroxin? I am also using the PMS pills. Do you think I going to struggle to fall pregnant with my Thyroid problem?
Dear HM
Why don't you let your GP check your thyroid levels, you may struggle to fall pregnant if it is too low. The Unique formulations are not clinically tested and you may need to increase your Eltroxin rather.
