Veins in eyes
Dear Doctor,

I have tried to place a question on the message board of the Optomotrist. But I see it is temp. closed...now I am trying you, I hope you don' t mind!
I have noticed today here at work that a vein in my eye burst and now there is a red blood spot in my eye, I am very selfconsious about my eyes and now this, I feel like crying... Please explain to me what I did wrong for this to happen to me so that I can prevent it from happening.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards
Bella

Bella, it’s probably not due to anything you did wrong. It might have developed due to rubbing your eyes or something. As long as there is no blood in the iris/pupil area, it will clear up by itself. Good luck.
