Verbal abuse can cause breakdown?
My elderly mother (73) has, for the third time "blacked out" for an entire weeked. She does not remember a single moment from the time my sister called her on Saturday morning and verbally attacked her. This often happens and my sister seems to use her as a scapegoat concerning other family members. My mother is porphyric so does not take any medication and alchohol. She cares daily for my father who is partially paraylsed. Is is possible fer her to not remeber anything for 2 days. She has also been unable to walk or talk properly through the entire period.
Keyes, I suppose it might be possible, but it isn’t a common occurrence. The best would to take her to the doctor and make sure it isn’t due to something like a small stroke or blood sugar problems. While you’re at it, you should also tell your sister to grow up and leave your mother alone. Good luck.
