Vitamins
Hi Doc
I just want to know the following - I dont drink milk or any other diary products except gouda cheese. Since I has born I have been lactose intolorent-had to have soya milk as a baby, when I was growing up a doctor put me on dolomite tabs. Oteoporosis does run in my family. So I am concerned, what calcium tabs do u recommend and what dosage. I also want to take Vit C, E and B but I am worried about the effect of all the vitamins together, for instance u take the Vit C and Calcium together - I am under the impression that, the two do not work together. Please advise me on the correct way in which to take vitamins and which to take - Currently I am on no supplements.

Kerry, I assume you are young and no way near menopause. You can take two Caltrate Plus® tablets a day – it should be enough calcium supplementation. If you want to take a multivitamin, you can take something like one Centrum® or Pharmaton® tablet a day as they won’t interact with the Calcium supplementation. Good luck.
