WATER RETENTION
I retain water, 24 hours a day. My legs always feel heavy and tight. I have had blood tests for thyroid and liver functions all came back ok. I have the Merina (birth control device) could that maybe be the reason. I don't perspire excessively and I drink lots of water. Please help.

CJ, I doubt that it is due to the Mirena®. The best would be to have your liver, kidneys and heart tested as those organs play a vital role in the development of oedema. Your GP should be able to help you with it. Good luck.
