weired querry
can ones tummy eat itself??? I have this burning feeling just below myribcage, taken antacid but not helping. so my friend joked and said maybe my tummy is eating itself coz I hardly eat - no appetite.

Petti, the acid in the stomach may burn/eat the stomach lining and cause gastritis and/or an ulcer. Your symptoms may also be due to bile reflux or a pancreas or gall bladder problem, so the best would be to see your doctor. Good luck.
